When it comes to feeling good in your body, most people focus on just one thing — calories, weight loss, or blood sugar. But the truth is, true health lives at the intersection of three powerful systems: your gut, your blood sugar, and your metabolism (weight regulation).

I call this the Triangle Effect — and once you understand it, everything starts to make sense.

How the Triangle Works:

1. Gut HealthYour gut is home to trillions of bacteria that influence digestion, inflammation, hormones, and even how your body responds to insulin. When your gut is inflamed or imbalanced:

  • Blood sugar becomes harder to manage

  • Cravings increase

  • Weight loss stalls

  • Energy drops

2. Blood Sugar Balance Unstable blood sugar creates spikes and crashes that lead to:

  • Fat storage

  • Increased hunger

  • Mood swings

  • Fatigue and brain fog

My Personal Story

As a type one diabetic for over 30 years, I lived most of my life thinking blood sugar struggles were just something I had to accept. My numbers were unpredictable, I felt tired daily, my skin was inflamed, and I constantly felt overwhelmed — especially after becoming a mom.

I was doing “everything right” on paper… but I wasn’t supporting my gut.
